Fourteenth seed Roberto Bautista Agut slips to a 6-2 6-4 6-4 defeat against Bernard Tomic to exit Wimbledon in round three.

Bernard Tomic has defeated Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets to progress into the last-16 stage of Wimbledon.

Number 14 seed Bautista Agut failed to live with his opponent, slipping to a 6-2 6-4 6-4 loss to see his hopes of success in London fade away.

Tomic was able to break the Spaniard on a couple of occasions in the opening set, before once more holding in the second to build up a healthy lead.

A loss of serve in the ninth game of the third set for Bautista Agut allowed Tomic to pounce, as he cruised into the final 16 of the competition where he will face either Lucas Pouille or Juan Martin del Potro.
