Result: Milos Raonic upsets Roger Federer in Brisbane International final

Top seed Roger Federer is beaten 6-4 6-4 by Milos Raonic in the final of the Brisbane International.

Milos Raonic has stunned top seed Roger Federer with a straight-sets victory in the final of the Brisbane International.

Federer, who said afterwards that he was dealing with illness, struggled to trouble Raonic's serve and was broken in the ninth game of the match before the Canadian served out the first set 6-4.

Federer had one chance to break Raonic's serve in the second, but he could not take it and soon after Raonic converted on his only other break point.

The fourth seed again had no trouble in serving it out, securing his second win in 11 meetings against Federer and denying the Swiss an 89th career title.
