Laura Robson will be included in the main draw of this year's French Open.

The Briton has confirmed that she will use her protected ranking of 58 to gain direct access to the main draw.

Former British number one Robson chose not to take advantage of this privilege at the Australian Open while she was still recovering from a wrist injury.

Robson, who last played at the French Open in 2013, will be joined by compatriots Johanna Konta, Heather Watson and Naomi Broady in the women's draw at Roland Garros.

Andy Murray, Aljaz Bedene and Kyle Edmund are Britain's male representatives at the French Open, which begins in late May.
