Rain postpones the French Open quarter-final between Rafael Nadal and Diego Schwartzman with the Spaniard trailing 6-3 3-5.

Rafael Nadal's French Open quarter-final contest against Diego Schwartzman has been postponed due to rainfall.

The match was disrupted with the Spaniard trailing 6-3 3-5 and will recommence on Thursday.

Play at Roland Garros was initially postponed by one hour, before further rainfall in the French capital saw the tie called off.

The winner of the contest will play either Juan Martin del Potro or Marin Cilic in the last four of the competition.

Nadal is seeking his 11th title at Roland Garros.
