Tomas Berdych has reached the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Open after a straightforward 6-0 6-1 victory over Tommy Robredo.
The Spaniard simply was not at the races in the first set, which his Czech opponent claimed flawlessly and with ease.
Robredo fared a little better in the second set, claiming a game, but still saw his serve broken twice as the world number six eased to a 6-1 win to seal the game in less than an hour.
Berdych will face Alexandr Dolgopolov in the last eight.
