Result: Germany beat Greece to pistol gold

Germany's Monika Karsch and Christian Reitz beat Konstantinos Malgarinos and Anna Korakaki of Greece to win the mixed team 10m air pistol event at the European Games.

Germany have picked up their 11th gold medal at the European Games with a narrow win over Greece in the final of the mixed team 10m air pistol event in Baku this afternoon.

Monika Karsch and Christian Reitz defeated Greek duo Anna Korakaki and Konstantinos Malgarinos 5-4 to secure the top spot on the rostrum.

Russian Federation's Ekaterina Korscuvona and Vladimir Gontcharov will receive the bronze after defeating Sonia Franquet and Pablo Carrera of Spain by the same scoreline in the third-place match.

Karsch already has a bronze from the women's 25m pistol event, while Reitz won gold in the 25m rapid fire pistol competition yesterday.
