Warren Gatland wins third Grand Slam with Wales

The New Zealander has achieved a record feat in rugby union.

Warren Gatland became the first coach to win three Six Nations Grand Slams after Wales finished the job by beating Ireland 25-7 on Saturday.

Here, Press Association Sport takes a look at his record achievement.

2008

Warren Gatland sealed his first Grand Slam with Wales at Twickenham (David Davies/PA)

Just months after taking the job, Gatland’s influence paid immediate dividends as Wales won their 10th Grand Slam, which included a standout 26-19 win at Twickenham against England.

2012

There was another impressive win at Twickenham as Wales again took a clean sweep after spending several years away from the top.

2019

Wales have done it! Capturing the Triple Crown and the Grand Slam in Cardiff with their 14th win on the bounce.
