Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph score tries as Bath secure a 21-11 win over Saracens in the Aviva Premiership.

Saracens' unbeaten start to the Aviva Premiership season has come to an end after they were beaten 21-11 by Bath Rugby this evening.

The home side took the lead early on as Jonathan Joseph held off a tackle to carry the ball over the line with just over 10 minutes played.

Two penalties from George Ford kept Bath ahead at the break, while Saracens were reduced to 14 men for a spell after Chris Ashton was sin-binned for a deliberate knock-on.

Kyle Eastmond took advantage of Ashton's absence at the start of the second half, avoiding a tackle from Billy Vunipola before sprinting over.

Chris Wyles reduced the deficit for Saracens, but the visitors were unable to add to their score inside the final 20 minutes, allowing Bath to hold on for the win.

The result sees Bath replace Saracens at the top of the table, with both sides having won four of their first five matches of the season.
