Newcastle Falcons have confirmed that highly-rated Yorkshire Carnegie prop Ben Harris will join the club in the summer.
The 25-year-old has penned a two-year deal with the Aviva Premiership side, and Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards has backed Harris to make a big impact at Kingston Park.
"Ben is a very well-regarded young prop who has been being watched by a number of clubs after impressing in the Championship and I am pleased that he will be making his way to us for next season," he told the club's official website. "He will add to our prop options and will complement and enhance the talent pool we already have in that position."
Newcastle are currently in 11th place in the Aviva Premiership table following a four-game winless run.
