Gloucester Rugby confirm that Tonga international prop Sila Puafisi will join Glasgow Warriors after the Rugby World Cup.

Gloucester Rugby have confirmed that prop Sila Puafisi will join Glasgow Warriors following the Rugby World Cup.

The 27-year-old has made 35 appearances for the Aviva Premiership club since arriving at Kingsholm Stadium in 2013.

Tonga international Puafisi will move to Glasgow in search of more first-team action after falling down the pecking order at Gloucester.

"Over the past 12 months Sila has been frustrated at the lack of first-team opportunities in the Aviva Premiership," Gloucester director of rugby David Humphreys told the club's official website.

"Everyone at the club has enjoyed working with Sila over the past 20 months and we wish him every success for the future."

Puafisi has made 16 appearances for Tonga since 2011.
