After a quiet opening 15 minutes, George Ford edged the home side ahead with a penalty, but it was cancelled out by an Alex Goode effort just three minutes later.

Saracens started to look strong as the end of the first time approached, and were able to dominate the final 10 minutes of the opening spell, resulting in tries for David Strettle and Chris Wyles.

Discipline cost the visitors after the break, as Jacques Burger was sent to the sin bin for a high tackle, while Wyles earned their second yellow of the match with two minutes left to go.

A penalty try gave Bath some late hope, but Saracens were able to hold on for the victory.
