Warrington Wolves centre Chris Bridge agrees to join Widnes Vikings at the end of the season.

Widnes Vikings have confirmed that centre Chris Bridge will join the club from Warrington Wolves at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has penned a two-year contract with the Vikings.

Bridge, who started his career with Bradford Bulls, has spent the past 10 years with Warrington.

"I am really looking forward to playing for Widnes Vikings," he told the club's official website. "I've spoken to Denis Betts and to Brett Hodgson and I am looking forward to the new challenge.

"It will be great to play alongside Kevin Brown and Rhys Hanbury and it sounds like there are some exciting plans to mix things up a bit next year. From what I've seen the style of play will suit me. The centres seem to get a lot of ball so I am looking forward to getting stuck in."

Widnes are back in Super League action on Friday when they will make the trip to Wigan Warriors.
