Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott hails the departing trio of Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai after the 22-20 Grand Final victory over Wigan Warriors.

Brian McDermott has heaped praise on the departing Leeds Rhinos players after their Super League Grand Final victory over Wigan Warriors yesterday.

Jamie Peacock, Kevin Sinfield and Kylie Leuluai all played their final rugby league game in the 22-20 win.

"I do believe it gave us an edge, McDermott told BBC Sport. "For Kylie, JP and Sinfield to go out on that note, that is fitting as well.

"Everybody wanted to tip in, that was the difference."

Sinfield, the longest serving Rhinos player out of the trio, will cross codes to play for Yorkshire Carnegie, while Peacock will join Hull Kingston Rover's coaching staff.
