Jordan Tansey plans to reveal Castleford Tigers' tactics to Brian Smith, as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats take on his former side.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats new boy Jordan Tansey has admitted that he is looking forward to featuring against former side Castleford Tigers.

The 28-year-old left Wheldon Road last month due to a lack of playing time in the first team.

Tansey now has a chance to impress against his ex-teammates in Sunday afternoon's Super League meeting, as Wakefield look to dent Castleford's top-four hopes.

"I didn't realise they were playing Cas again," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. "I thought they've played them already. It will be good to play against my old club. Hopefully I can tell Brian [Smith] a few things about them."

Tansey has played in both previous games between the sides this term.
