Great Britain clinch rowing gold at World Cup

Great Britain's men's eight team and women's pair win gold medals at the Rowing World Cup.

Great Britain's men's eight team have claimed a gold medal after beating Germany at the Rowing World Cup regatta in Lucerne.

The British crew made a dominant start to the race, and despite a late fightback from the Germans, they held on to win by 0.08s and seal the win.

Britain's Helen Glover and Heather Stanning also claimed gold in the women's pair, after finishing ahead of New Zealand and Denmark.

Meanwhile, James Foad and Matt Langridge finished second behind New Zealand to earn silver in the men's pair and Alan Campbell came third in the final of the single sculls.
