Ryan Moore equals the post-war record for winners in a single Royal Ascot festival with two days of racing still to go.

Jockey Ryan Moore has equalled the record for most Royal Ascot winners in a single festival with two days of racing still to go.

Moore came home in first on War Envoy in the penultimate race of the day for his eighth winner in three days.

He equals the post-war record for winners held by Lester Piggott and Pat Eddery.

Moore was also on the favourite in the last race of the day, but never threatened aboard Dissolution as Space Age held on for victory in the King George V Stakes.
