Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri reveals that he will not be able to watch Tottenham's clash with Chelsea, which could see his side win the title, as he is in Italy.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed that he will not be able to watch Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League clash with Chelsea on Monday because he is visiting his mother.

The Foxes would wrap up the first title in the club's history should Spurs fail to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, where they have not won since 1990.

However, Ranieri will be initially unaware whether his side are champions or not as he is scheduled to be on a flight home from Italy, where he is having lunch with his elderly mother.

"Tomorrow night I am on a flight. Now I go back to Italy and I come back at the same time of the match," he told reporters.

"I will be the last man to know the result. I want to meet my mother. She is 96 years old and I'd like to go to have lunch with her.

"I want to win, it is not important when, believe me."

Leicester could have wrapped up the title this afternoon, but they only managed a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
