Ospreys lock Lloyd Peers reveals that he has changed his name to Lloyd Ashley after getting married.

Ospreys lock Lloyd Peers has announced that he has changed his name to Lloyd Ashley after getting married.

The 24-year-old, who is a former Wales Under-20 international, has the same middle name as his wife Febe, so the couple decided to take Ashley as their new surname.

Ashley told BBC Sport: "We decided to use that as our married name, rather than one of us taking the other's surname.

"By the time I returned for pre-season, I had become Lloyd Ashley. Hopefully, I can leave the injuries behind with Lloyd Peers and Lloyd Ashley can have a good run of games without any problems."

The couple married in Santorini in Greece last month.
