The Premier League will offer up four full rounds of top-flight matches live in the auction for the 2019-2022 broadcasting rights, according to a report.

There will be seven different packages up for grabs, The Telegraph claims, accounting for 200 of the 380 games each season - up from the 168 under the current arrangement.

One package will include all matches from two midweek rounds, while another will consist of one midweek round and a Bank Holiday schedule.

Another package is said to include eight 7.45pm Saturday kickoffs, a primetime slot that will place them in competition with the likes of The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing.

There are packages for both the early and late kickoffs on Saturdays, but there remains a blackout on 3pm games.

Bidding for the new set of Premier League rights, expected to be contested by Sky, BT Sport and digital services such as Facebook and Amazon, is scheduled to conclude in February.
