Harry Redknapp's potential purchase of a lower-league club could reportedly be filmed for a new TV series.

Harry Redknapp is apparently being courted by producers to appear in his own fly-on-the-wall documentary series.

The 73-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur manager has gained a new legion of fans over the last few years after appearing on ITV's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! and Harry's Heroes.

Redknapp has recently outlined his desire to buy a lower-league football club and producers are keen to film the whole process, according to The Sun.

"Harry showed in the jungle he is a brilliant TV personality who men, women and people of all ages like and can relate to," a source told the newspaper.

"Harry's Heroes has only served to underline that. The show has been the surprise hit of the year for ITV and they are looking to try and do another series next year.

"But there is a lot of interest, separately in Harry. His journey to buying a football club and a lot of producers are keen to talk to Harry about it."

Speaking about his possible new venture this week, Redknapp explained: "I was thinking about it. It's a lower division club, I'm not talking about buying Liverpool or Man United or Tottenham.

"It would be a good interest for me, it would be something I would quite enjoy. It would give me something to do every Saturday, getting involved with a club. I would love it, I really would."

Netflix, Sky and ITV have been mentioned as potential partners for the new TV series.
