Eleven Sports is tipped to lodge a bid for the remaining Premier League television rights packages.

Eleven Sports is reportedly weighing up a bid for the Premier League's remaining TV packages.

The streaming service, which is owned by Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani, recently beat Sky to the broadcasting rights to La Liga for the next three seasons, and the company is said to have ambitions to screen matches from the English top flight.

According to The Times, Eleven Sports could eventually emerge as a competitor to Sky and BT after securing its own stake in Premier League broadcasting.

Radrizzani's firm is said be eyeing the Premier League's Package F - which is made up of 10 matches from a Bank Holiday programme and as many from a midweek programme - and Package G, which comprises 20 matches covering two midweek programmes.

The English top flight could reportedly include non-live, long-form rights with the packages, which would allow the successful bidder to show extended highlights from games after the final whistle.

Internet giant Amazon has also been tipped to launch a bid for the remaining TV packages.
