BT Sport announces Action Woman of the Year award nominees

Jessica Ennis-Hill is among the list of 10 nominees for BT Sport's Action Woman of the Year Award.

BT Sport has announced the contenders for its annual Action Woman of the Year Award.

The 10-woman shortlist is headlined by British heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill, who won the World Athletics Championships for the second time in August.

UCI World Road Race Champion Lizzie Armitstead has also been included, as has Britain's number one tennis player Johanna Konta.

The other nominees are Nicola Adams, Rachel Atherton, Georgina Hermitage, England Women's hockey team, England Lionesses, Sarah Outen and Oxford Women's Boat Race crew.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, December 1.
