Kevin Glazer - one of six brothers involved in the ownership of Manchester United - is not looking to sell his shares in the club, according to a report.

Kevin Glazer is reportedly not looking to sell his shares in Manchester United.

A series of media reports had claimed that the American - one of six Glazer brothers involved in the ownership of United - wanted to sell his 13% stake, which is worth in the region of £300m.

However, according to Sky Sports News, suggestions that the 56-year-old no longer wants to be involved in the running of the 20-time English champions are 'wide of the mark'.

The report claims that documents submitted to the New York Stock Exchange at the end of last week did not indicate any change in ownership.

The six Glazer siblings inherited their combined 90% stake of United after their father Malcolm Glazer, who purchased the club in 2005, passed away in May 2014 at the age of 85.

The Red Devils recently announced that they will suffer a fall in revenue this season, while they also need to find a new shirt sponsor after Chevrolet declined to extend their current deal.

The United supporters have continued their protests against the Glazers in recent years during a difficult period for the team on the field.
