Everton defender Michael Keane reportedly 'liked' a tweet that poked fun at Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's recent performance for Liverpool.
After three substitute appearances, the 24-year-old made his first start for the Reds since moving to Anfield on deadline day in a £35m deal from Arsenal.
The England international started in a wide position in Tuesday night's EFL Cup third-round tie against Leicester City, but he failed to impress at the King Power Stadium as the team got knocked out in a 2-0 defeat.
On Twitter, rival fans mocked the former Southampton player, and one particular tweet, which also referenced Rio Ferdinand's decision to take up boxing, reportedly tickled Keane.
According to The Mirror, the Everton centre-back 'liked' a message that read: "Rio Ferdinand isn't the first person to do a sport he's not used to... for instance, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been having a go at football."
The attack-minded player has played just 56 minutes of Premier League action since joining Liverpool at the end of August.
