Leicester City are named as the BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year for their shock Premier League title-winning season in 2015-16.

Leicester City have won the BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year award for their shock Premier League title-winning season in 2015-16.

The Foxes, managed by Claudio Ranieri, started last season as 5,000-1 outsiders for the title after almost being relegated in 2014-15.

However, they shocked the world of football by losing just three league games last season and have gone on to reach the Champions League knockout stages in the current campaign.

The club was honoured twice at the 2016 SPOTY awards after Ranieri was named Coach of the Year.
