Huddersfield Town are reportedly bracing themselves for a legal battle as goalkeeping coach Nick Colgan is considering action after being sacked.
The 43-year-old was part of the backroom staff that helped the Terriers to Premier League promotion last term after being appointed to the senior role in 2014.
Colgan was recently sacked by the club, however, and The Independent reports that he has contacted the Professional Football Coaches Association to seek a claim for wrongful dismissal.
A former Republic of Ireland international, Colgan has been involved with Town since 2010 when he spent time on their books in the latter days of his playing career.
Huddersfield were promoted to the top flight via the playoffs in May, overcoming Reading in a penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium following a goalless draw.
