The England squad reportedly ask for ITV2's Love Island to be broadcast in their hotel rooms in Russia.

The England national squad have reportedly asked for four British TV channels to be broadcast in their hotel rooms in Russia, partly because the players want to keep up to date with ITV2's Love Island.

The reality show involves contestants being relocated to a villa abroad, leaving the 'Islanders' to couple up between themselves in the aim of winning a £50,000 prize at the end of the series.

The Daily Mail claims that some of the Three Lions players have requested ITV2 to be shown in their hotel room to watch the rest of the series, which started last Monday.

The report adds that BBC, ITV and Sky Sports have also been demanded so that the players can watch their rivals play in their World Cup games.

England's opening Group G fixture is against Tunisia on Monday night, before playing matches against Belgium and Panama later in the month.
