David Beckham is reportedly told to "calm down" by Chelsea vice-president Joe Hemani while celebrating PSG's opening goal in Wednesday's Champions League match.

Former England captain David Beckham was reportedly told to "calm down" by Chelsea vice-president Joe Hemani while he celebrated Paris Saint-Germain's goal during Wednesday's Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Beckham, who spent half a season at PSG before retiring in 2013, was at the West London ground to watch the last-16 second leg with his teenage son Brooklyn.

According to The Times, after Beckham and his son jumped from their seats to celebrate Adrien Rabiot's 16th-minute goal, Hemani attempted to quieten the former footballer.

It is believed that the Chelsea vice-president was reprimanded by security staff for his outburst, but the Premier League club have denied any foul language or gestures.

PSG went on to knock Chelsea out of the Champions League by sealing a 4-2 aggregate victory.
