Jack Wilshere will reportedly employ his hairdresser as a minder on future nights out following an incident at a London club last weekend.

The 24-year-old, who is closing in on a return to the Arsenal first team, was pictured talking to police after an alleged altercation between two groups of men in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

According to The Sunday People, Wilshere has now decided to bring along hairdresser Michael Michael - also the father of his girlfriend Adriani - to help ward off any trouble on nights out in future.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger spoke up in defence of the youngster in the wake of the nightclub incident, suggesting that he may have been "provoked" by fellow clubbers.

Wilshere could be back in Wenger's plans as soon as next weekend after a successful outing for the Under-21s side on Friday.
