A group of Arsenal fans are planning a large protest under the slogan "bank of bullshit" ahead of their game at bitter rivals Chelsea later this month.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has come in for criticism from certain sections of the club's support for several seasons now, while their activity in the transfer market this summer - making two signings while selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and failing to tie down Alexis Sanchez to a new contract - has heightened tensions further.

The club's damning 4-0 loss at Liverpool just before the international break has led to some frustrated fans to take matters into their own hands with a protest at Stamford Bridge on September 17.

According to The Sun, protest organisers have printed hundreds of fake £50 notes bearing the tagline "bank of bullshit", in a reference to the club's American owner Stan Kroenke, and will distrubute them ahead of the game, which is being shown live on Sky Sports.

Earlier today Wenger called on fans to "be behind us in this moment even if we are very sorry for what we delivered".
