The Netherlands' Henk Grol has taken gold in the men's -100kg judo category at the European Games in Baku.

The Dutchman defeated Lukas Krpalek of the Czech Republic after scoring a Yuko within the five-minute time frame.

Belgium's Toma Nikiforov and France's Cyrille Maret took bronze.

It has been a good day for the Dutch after Marhine Verkerk won gold in the women's -78kg earlier on Saturday.
