Result: Russia's Yana Kudryavtseva wins gold medal in women's individual ball final

The Russian Federation's Yana Kudryavtseva won the gold medal in the individual ball final in rhythmic gymnastics with 18.950 points at the National Gymnastics Arena on Sunday.

The Russian Federation's Yana Kudryavtseva has won gold in the women's individual ball final in rhythmic gymnastics with 18.950 points at the National Gymnastics Arena on Sunday.

Ganna Rizatdinova of Ukraine won the silver with 18.250 and Belarusian Melitina Staniouta claimed bronze with 18.200.

Kudryavtseva is a two-time world champion in the all-around, the 2014 European all-around champion, and the 2014 World Cup Final all-around champion.

It is Russia's 37th gold medal of the Games.
