Alex Noren produces a strong finish on day two of the Scottish Open to usurp Danny Lee at the summit.

Alex Noren has carded a round of six-under 66 to top the leaderboard after day two at the Scottish Open.

Three birdies on his final four holes helped the 33-year-old to usurp Danny Lee, who had set the clubhouse target at seven-under earlier in the day.

Eddie Pepperell had matched Lee's total, while Padraig Harrington and Graeme McDowell are further behind as they sit three shots off the summit at Castle Stuart after rounds of 69.

Lee was quick out of the blocks with three birdies in the opening four holes, but Noren finished the stronger and was able to overhaul his rival to take the outright lead on eight-under-par overall.

Branden Grace, looking to go one better than his runner-up finish here in 2013, is one of four players on six-under after a round of 67.
