Soomin Lee double-bogeys two of the last three holes to hand the Maybank Championship Malaysia title to Australia's Marcus Fraser.

Marcus Fraser has capitalised on a late collapse from Soomin Lee to win the inaugural Maybank Championship Malaysia.

Overnight leader Lee looked to be on course for the title when he held a two-shot lead with three holes remaining.

However, the South Korean double-bogeyed at the 16th and 18th to end his chances, as well as opening the door for Fraser.

The 37-year-old Australian pounced with a three-under-par 68 to give him the victory by two shots.

It is Fraser's third European Tour triumph and his first since winning the Ballantine's Championship in April 2010.
