Andrew Dodt admits that he was left "speechless" by his victory in the inaugural Thailand Classic.

Andrew Dodt has admitted to being left speechless after claiming victory at the inaugural Thailand Classic.

A third successive round of 67 helped the Australian overturn a four-shot deficit on the final day to beat Thongchai Jaidee and overnight leader Scott Hend to the title, and the 29-year-old could not hide his surprise when asked about his performance.

"I'm speechless, it's just come out of nowhere," Dodt told reporters. "I played really well yesterday and today, but I just didn't think I was coming out on top.

"I knew I was playing well but to come out and win it's just another dream come true."

Dodt's last victory on the European Tour came at the Avantha Masters in 2010.
