Galvin Green has turned to the "science of excellence" as the source of inspiration for this latest clothing range. This means we're looking at performance-driven design elements that will give you an edge while ensuring you look great on the green.
It's an all-weather collection, bringing together pieces that can be mixed and matched, layering up to protect yourself from the elements. This could be Galvin Green's best collection yet.
In 2013, we saw Galvin Green make a conscious shift towards sustainability which is a thread that has carried through to the current day. This was all part of a shift towards fabrics that could give you a competitive edge while also minimising the social and environmental impact.
In this collection, you'll find GORE-TEX outer layers, INSULA mid-layers and VENTIL8 PLUS shirts & pants to complete the high-performance fabric trio. Pick up one of the INSULA sweaters and you might be surprised to learn they are all made from recycled polyester. To take their commitment to recycling even further, all hangers and bags are made from recycled plastic.
For outer waterproof layers, you'll be spoiled for choice. There are five GORE-TEX technologies in the range, and some innovative new concepts to explore.
The full-zip ASHTON jacket features SHAKEDRY technology which ensures water beads up on the surface and rolls off with ease. At the end of the course, take it off, give it a shake and your jacket will be perfectly dry and ready to store. It's very breathable for all-day comfort, while the shaped sleeves with elasticated cuffs and a drawstring hem ensure a perfect fit without compromising on movement.
Some other shell layer waterproofs in the collection feature GORE-TEX fabric with C-KNIT lining that helps the shell layer to glide over your mid-layers. Innovative super stretch technology also allows for a full range of movement where you need it most.
If you're looking for a jacket to wear on and off the course, reach for the AARON jacket with a lightweight mesh lining. If you need a lightweight and easy-to-store solution, the APOLLO comes with GORE-TEX Paclite technology. And finally, the ALEX half-zip jacket features shaped sleeves and stretchy fabric for easy movement.
To complete the look, each jacket can be paired with durable waterproof trousers, offering many of the same features and unique design elements. These will allow you to stay warm and dry on the course without compromising on movement. You can also take your pick from a range of INSULA sweaters to stay warm and VENTIL8 PLUS layer shirts to keep you cool and dry.
