Great Britain's Paralympic goalball competitor Joe Dodson has paid tribute to the "great" fans that have supported the team's campaign at London 2012.
ParalympicsGB have had a mismatched tournament this summer and have recorded defeats against Lithuania, Finland and Turkey but managed to earn a draw against Sweden.
"It's been amazing," Dodson told the Lutterworth Mail. "It's a shame results haven't gone our way but we have a young team and the aim is to build up our experience for forthcoming European championships and the next games in Rio.
"The crowds have been great. It's been a lot noisier than at a normal goalball game, sometimes you can't hear the coaches at the side of the court."
The 27-year-old has admitted that he was close to quitting the Paralympic sport earlier this year.
