Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly eye a move for Nantes striker Yacine Bammou after selling Benik Afobe to Bournemouth.

Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly targeted a move for Nantes striker Yacine Bammou after selling Benik Afobe to Bournemouth.

Afobe left for the Cherries earlier this month in a deal said to be worth around £11m, so Wolves have the money to replace the former Arsenal man.

According to the Express & Star, 24-year-old Moroccan international Bammou could be the man to fill his shoes at Molineux.

Bammou has scored eight Ligue 1 goals in 55 French top-flight appearances the last two seasons.
