Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham both reportedly lodge bids for Derby County striker Chris Martin.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham have both made bids for Derby County striker Chris Martin as they look to strengthen in the final third before the end of the transfer window.

Last season's top goalscorer began the campaign on the bench and although he has started Derby's last three games in the Championship without notching his first strike of the season, he continues to be a top transfer target for two of his club's Championship rivals.

Wolves had a bid for the Scottish international rebuffed earlier in the summer but according to Sky Sports News, they remain keen to test Derby's resolve over the next 48 hours.

Walter Zenga's men are known to want another forward before Wednesday's deadline and the same can be said for Fulham, who are yet to replace Ross McCormack.

It has been claimed that Derby are yet to make a decision over whether to accept either offer.
