West Bromwich Albion reportedly prepare a move for Everton's veteran midfielder Gareth Barry.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly preparing a move for Everton midfielder Gareth Barry.

Barry, 36, has made more than 150 appearances for Everton since joining the club, initially on loan, in 2013.

Last season, the experienced midfielder appeared in 33 of the Toffees' 38 Premier League matches, although it is understood that Ronald Koeman's summer spending spree has placed Barry's future in doubt.

According to the Daily Mail, West Brom boss Tony Pulis will offer the former England international a two-year contract in a bid to fill the void left by Darren Fletcher, who has departed The Hawthorns for Stoke City.

Barry scored three times in 53 appearances for England between 2000 and 2012.
