West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on completing the permanent signing of Bournemouth defender Marc Wilson.

Bournemouth defender Marc Wilson has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for West Bromwich Albion.

Wilson spent the second half of last season on loan at The Hawthorns and although he made just four appearances in the Premier League, it appears that head coach Tony Pulis is keen on a reunion.

According to Sky Sports News, the Baggies boss is looking to give the Republic of Ireland international a chance to return to the West Midlands after failing to settle on the south coast.

It has been suggested that Bournemouth are happy to allow Wilson to leave the Vitality Stadium providing that they receive an offer of £1m.

Bournemouth paid £2m for his signature last summer, but he is yet to be used in the top flight and boss Eddie Howe is expected to look at other options for his backline.
