West Bromwich Albion have reportedly launched a bid for Bristol City forward Bobby Reid.

The 25-year-old has one year left on his contract at Ashton Gate and scored 19 goals for Lee Johnson's Championship side last season.

According to Sky Sports News, the Baggies are interested in the player and have made a £7m offer for the Englishman.

Reid has been tied to the Robins his entire career but has had several loan spells at Cheltenham Town, Oldham Athletic and Plymouth Argyle.

The player was the third top scorer in the last Championship campaign and was part of the PFA Championship Team of the Year.
