Wales striker Hal Robson-Kanu, who is currently without a club, is reportedly closing in on a move to West Bromwich Albion.

Free agent Hal Robson-Kanu is reportedly on the verge of sealing a move to West Bromwich Albion.

The 27-year-old has been looking for a new club since being released by Reading at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Interest in the striker increased following his performances at Euro 2016, where he helped Wales all the way to the semi-finals.

Wales boss Chris Coleman recently warned Robson-Kanu that his place in the team would be under threat if he failed to find a new club.

A host of clubs have been linked with Robson-Kanu, but the Baggies are now understood to have won the race for his signature, with the player being given permission to leave the Wales camp in order to complete the deal.
