A report in France claims that West Bromwich Albion want to bring Lyon left-back Henri Bedimo to the Premier League this month.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in bringing Lyon defender Henri Bedimo to The Hawthorns this month.

AC Milan have also been linked with a move for the left-back, but according to French publication L'Equipe, it is the Premier League side that currently lead the race.

Bedimo, 31, joined Lyon in the summer of 2013, signing a three-year deal with the French outfit.

Contract talks have not yet begun over a fresh deal, however, and it is understood that the Baggies will attempt to sign the experienced defender for a cut-price fee in this transfer window.

Bedimo has also won 39 caps for Cameroon since making his debut for the national team in 2009.
