West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon has reportedly avoided retrospective action from the Football Association.

On Saturday, the Venezuelan international slapped Marcos Rojo during a confrontation between the two players in Manchester United's 2-0 win over the Baggies.

While Rondon received a yellow card for his part in the incident, the offence in question was not seen by the referee but according to the Daily Mail, a three-man panel has decided against further action.

The 27-year-old - who has scored seven goals this season - will now be available for his side's trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day.
