Watford reportedly agree a £11.2m deal to sign Chelsea and Ajax target Richarlison from Fluminense.

Watford have signed Brazilian forward Richarlison from Fluminense for £11.2m, according to the Brazilian club's president Pedro Abad.

The Hornets appear to have beaten tough competition, including Premier League champions Chelsea and Dutch giants Ajax, for the 20-year-old's signature.

According to the Daily Mail, Richarlison will sign a five-year contract at Watford, who are confident of swiftly sealing a work permit to avoid sending the young attacker out on loan.

Fluminense president Abad confirmed the deal, telling reporters: "It is official. We've sold Richarlison to Watford for €12.5m (£11.2m). We keep 10%o f the rights."

The Brazil Under-20 international scored 10 goals in 21 league games last season.
