Wales winger Gareth Bale claims that the Dragons will demonstrate more pride and passion than England when they meet at Euro 2016.

Wales star Gareth Bale has criticised neighbours England, claiming that his own nation will show more pride and passion than the Three Lions when they meet at Euro 2016.

The two home nations, who are in Group B alongside Russia and Slovakia, will meet in Lens next Thursday on June 16, which will be their second fixture in the competition.

The Real Madrid forward told BBC Sport: "I think we've got a lot more passion and pride about us than [England], and we'll definitely show that on the day.

"They big themselves up before they've done anything, so we're going to go there and we believe we can beat them.

"I had a chuckle when England came out, I'm not going to lie. It's an amazing game to be involved in and it's like any derby - you never want to lose to the enemy."

The Dragons' first major tournament for 58 years begins in Bordeaux on Saturday afternoon against Slovakia.
