Dani sees red as Vitoria de Setubal and Arouca play out a goalless draw in the Primeira Liga.

Vitoria de Setubal have risen into the Primeira Liga playoff places after a goalless draw against Arouca.

The home team struggled to assert their authority over Arouca and failed to test goalkeeper Rafael Bracali throughout the match.

After a quiet first half, it was a bad-tempered affair in the second half with both teams picking up six yellow cards.

Dani saw red in stoppage time but Arouca were unable to take advantage before the full-time whistle.

Arouca trail their opponents by two points and sit in ninth in the table.
