Valencia boss Gary Neville reveals that he is looking forward to his team's Europa League last-16 first leg away to Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night.

Valencia boss Gary Neville has revealed that he is looking forward to taking his team to Athletic Bilbao in Europe.

Los Che will continue their Europa League journey with a last-16 first leg against their Spanish rivals at San Mames on Thursday night.

Neville has referenced the famous atmosphere at Bilbao's home stadium and called on his players to show that they can handle the occasion.

"It will be the first time I've been in this stadium but I've seen a lot of Athletic's games, so I know the atmosphere the fans create," Neville told reporters.

"We have the players to respond to these type of situations but we know we've not shown our level of skill thus far, so maybe this is the time. In the games we've lost we needed to be more consistent because we didn't deserve so little reward."

Valencia lost 3-0 at home to Bilbao when the two teams met in La Liga at the end of last month.
