Wednesday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:

Barcelona eye Donyell Malen as Memphis Depay alternative?

Barcelona have reportedly identified PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen as a potential January signing.

The Catalan giants missed out on adding Lyon attacker Memphis Depay to their ranks during the closing days of the summer window, effectively leaving Ronald Koeman a player short in the final third.

With Depay having less than a year remaining on his contract, Barcelona are expected to return for the Netherlands international at the start of 2021.

However, according to reports in Spain, the La Liga side are willing to switch their attention to Malen if Lyon are still not prepared to sell his Dutch compatriot.

While PSV may have little interest in parting ways with their star man, a lack of Champions League football this season may eventually force their hand.

Arsenal are also monitoring the situation ahead of a potential big-money bid next summer.

Isco hits out at Zinedine Zidane over Real Madrid playing time

Isco has seemingly acknowledged that he is disappointed with his lack of game time under Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.

The 28-year-old's stint at the Bernabeu has petered out over recent seasons with the playmaker failing to hold down a regular spot in the side.

Isco has only been provided with 149 minutes of action since the start of this campaign, and the Spaniard has not been shy in voicing his frustrations.

During Saturday's El Clasico with Barcelona, Movistar cameras showed Isco speaking with Marcelo and Luka Modric.

Isco allegedly said to the duo: "If Zidane has to take me off, he takes me off in the 50th or 60th minute, sometimes at half time. If he has to bring me on, he brings me on in the 80th minute."

Although the words could have been perceived to be light-hearted, Isco may push for a transfer during the January transfer window.
